Tanzania

Well we have returned from our safari. Mohammed and Dube (guide and cook) were great. Food was good and the campsites were fine. We were really well cared for. The service you provided of a tailored safari was excellent, and more comfortable than travelling between parks every day as we have before, especially after coming down from Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro Machame Route
The way to Uhuru Peak was the most impressive experience in my life. Thanks to my guide, cook, porters and Footprint Adventures for making it possible!

Dear Jane / Georg

Just to let you know we had a fabulous time on Kilimanjaro.  Even managing to fit a one day safari into our final few hours in Tanzania. Our guide (Lamek) managed to get us huts to ourselves every night bar one, and we were both amazed at how good and plentiful the food was considering where we were.

Juliet made it to the top. Unfortunately I had quite severe ataxia at Hans Meyer cave and had to go down - only 3 hours from the top!

The main point of this message - we were so taken with the whole trip that we want to do something very similar next year. We very much liked Africa, but would consider alternatives. We are considering Kili by a tougher route in 2 years' time.

We are looking at Mt Kenya, but of course you might have other ideas. What do think would be a good next step after Kilimanjaro?

I look forward to hearing your ideas.

Regards

Tony Parkinson.

Jane

Many thanks for your help with our trip to Mount Kili recently. All went very well and transfers were very smooth considering the local.
We all got to the top even though all very tired. Met Georg and he looked to be doing well. Last time we saw him he was
heading up from Kibo hut. Did he and his team fair OK, get back safely?
Many thanks again
Sam

Jane,

Just a short note to say thank you very much for organizing such a great trip to Kilimanjaro for myself, Jason and Andy! Incidentally, we all made it to the top, and up the Umbwe route which many thought we were all mad, and would struggle to make it.

We all had a fantastic time, and a great experience,
Thanks again

Kind Regards

Colin Wright
