Highlights of Nepal
Day 1 Welcome to Kathmandu
Arrive
Kathmandu airport, you will be met
by the staff from our agency in Kathmand,. and transfered to your Hotel.
In the
afternoon (if we have got time), your guide will take you on a walking
tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. The numerous buildings in this square
are the greatest achievements of the Malla dynasty, resulting from
the rivalry between the 3 palaces
of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.
Evening
welcome dinner with cultural show. Overnight Hotel.
Day 2 Kathmandu.(B)
After
breakfast we start our tour around Kathmandu. Escorted by an
English speaking guide enchanting
manner of its people. Overnight Hotel
In our
sightseeing tour we go to Patan, Boudanath, Monkey Temple and Pashupatinath.
We have lunch in Bhaktapur, and take a stroll through this medieval
city. We then drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 3 Kathmandu - Nagarkot (B)
First we
take you to Bhakatapur a great ancient city which is on the way to
Nagarkot. Nagorkot is a hilly
place which is on 2073m, very popular
and a lovely place
with superb views of the Himalayas, sun rises and sun sets, views
of the surrounding valleys. We have lunch in Bhaktapur, and take a stroll
through this medieval city. We
then drive to the mountain resort of Nagarkot
in time for a spectacular sunset over the Himalayan range.

Day 4/5 Nagarkot - Chitwan (Wildlife Safari), Overnight in Resort (B+L+D)
From
Nagarkot we travel by private car to the Royal Chitwan National Park
where we will see yet another
side of Nepal. The days here are spent on trips
into the jungle on elephant back, swimming, jungle walks, bird watching,
canoe trips on the Rapti River in search of crocodiles. Alternatively,
we can just laze and relax in the jungle lodges.
Day 6 Lumbini (B)
After
breakfast we drive staraight to Lumbini, birth place of Gautam Bouddha,

Day 7/8 Lumbini (B)
Lumbini is
the sound birth-place of Lord siddhartha Goutam Bouddha - the Apostle
of Compassion & Non-Violence. He is not only the Light of Asia but
the Messenger of Universal Peace
as well. The auspicious garden of Lumbini is
situated amidst the newly established town of siddharthanagar in the
Terai plains of west Nepal. The
broken Ashoka pillar, holly remnants of an old
Buddhist monastery, divine images of the Buddha's mother Great Maya
Devi, etc. are still well
preserved here. Extensive excavation task is being
carried out with promosing effects.
Day 9 Lumbini - Pokhara (B)
After
breakfast we drive straight to Pokhara.
Day 10 Pokhara (B)
Sightseeing
tour around Pokhara. Boating on Phewa Lake if interested. Overnight
Hotel
Today we go
on sightseeing tour of Pokhara, including Mahendra Cave, Mahendra
Pul, Devi's Falls, Baharahi Temple. We spend another night in this
picturesque city. Overnight Hotel.
Day 11 Day hike to Sarangkot - Pokhara (B)
In the
morning, we go on a sunrise tour to Sarangkot, to get a magnificent
view of the Annapurna range. We
return to Pokhara, where the rest of the day
is free for activities like visiting its museums, bargain hunting at
its bazaars or a peaceful boat
ride on the lake. Overnight Hotel.
Day 12 Pokhara - Kathmndu (B)
We drive
back to Kathmandu. We say goodbye to Pokhara and head
back to bustling Kathmandu by car or private bus. (There is an option
to fly.) In the evening be
treated to a cultural dance during dinner. Overnight
Hotel.
Day
13 Kathmandu (B)
Free on your
own in Kathmandu. Overnight Hotel
Day 14 Depart
All too soon
it's time to bid Nepal farewell and one realizes that we can
never be intimate, only acquainted with this amazing adventure kingdom. (B)
Cost includes: All by private transfer, Hotel with breakfast, all permits and entry
fees, sightseeing tour with English
speaking guide. Whole trip will be escorted by an English speaking tour guide.
