We transfer you from your hotel to train station in Cusco where you board your train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes a Representative from the Hotel/Hostal will meet you and transfer to the hotel. You have the rest of day at leisure! At 5PM please be back at your Hotel as our Guide will come over to introduce himself and explain the schedule for Day 2.

As early as 05:30AM you can take the bus up to Machupicchu for Sunrise! You can decide the departure time with our guide. Our specialist guide will take you on a fascinating guided tour in the ruins, lasting approximately 2 hours, visiting the most important Temples, i.e. the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, Temple of the Pachamama (Mother Earth), and Temple of the Inti Watana, which served as a place to study the constellations, the solstices and equinoxes. After the tour you have leisure time in Machupicchu / Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon you will return to Cusco/Ollantaytambo via train. We will meet you at the Train Station in Cusco/Ollantaytambo and transfer you back to your lodgings.
